Open Access Costs

At present, only the data from the publication fund for humanities and social sciences are available online. Because  publication fees are not recorded centrally at UZH we can only provide the data from the publication fund because it is managed by the University Library.

Article fees that were fully or partially financed by the publication fund for humanities and social sciences  as of 2012 are recorded in OpenAPC. The international OpenAPC initiative aims to make the costs paid by universities and research funders transparently accessible. Interested institutions can submit corresponding lists to OpenAPC.

Individual data sets can be downloaded directly from Github.

The graph is embedded directly from OpenAPC and shows the expenditure in euros per publisher. The view can be filtered per year. Detailed figures can be found in the table.
