This dashboard shows the Open Access share of the publications deposited in ZORA by the authors searched for. Authors often do not have their complete list of publications in ZORA. In addition, particularly in the case of older publications, the full texts are often missing. For this reason, numbers such as the Open Access share of individual authors are only of limited significance. It is advisable to consider only the most recent years in the search.
Additional options for authors are offered by the Open Access App of the UZH Open Science Office. The app was developed by Reto Gerber and Mark Robinson Open Science Delegate. It allows researchers to tabulate their list of publications, including OA status, and overlap their profiles from the following sources: ORCID, Pubmed, Google Scholar and Publons.
In the dashboard, it is possible to search by name or ORCID iD. The scheme "Last name First name" must be used strictly, taking into account upper and lower case. Otherwise, no results will be displayed. In case that different name variants are displayed, all of them have to be selected to get a proper result. It is as well possible to search via ORCID iD. For this purpose, publications must be tagged with the ORCID iD in ZORA: ORCID iD in ZORA
By clicking on the bar charts "Number of documents" or "Access rights" and on the pie chart "OA status", further data evaluations as well as the underlying ZORA publications can be displayed. The data is synchronised in real-time with the Zurich Archive and Repository ZORA Please find further information on Open Access in the Glossary
For modifying the visualisations, we recommend adding filters. All fields and aggregations available in the search index can be used. The field names are generally descriptive.
Alternatively, you can also search directly in the search field. The available fields and operators are displayed when you click into the field. Please find more information on the Kibana Query Language KQL on Elasticsearch.
